Customs & Immigration procedure

During your charter, you will cross two countries: Grenada that includes Carriacou and Pt. Martinique, and St. Vincent & The Grenadines. Therefore, you need to complete the customs and immigrations procedures.

First you need to check out of Grenada, here are the offices available:

Le Phare Bleu Marina (Grenada)9 AM - 4 PM9 AM - 2 PM
Tyrell Bay (Carriacou)8 AM - 11:45 AM and 1 PM - 4 PM9 AM - 1:30 PM
Hillsborough (Carriacou)8 AM - 11:45 AM and 1 PM - 4 PM9 AM - 1:00 PM

When you enter The Grenadines, usually through Union Island, you need to check in.

St. Vincent (Blu Lagoon - at the rear of the marina)8:30 AM - 4 PM8:30 AM - Noon

Documents to be prepared are ships’ documentation papers, 4 copies of the crew list, visas, immigration cards and passports for all the crew, Ships stores and health declaration, and port clearance from last port of call. The skipper only is expected to go to the office.

Note that Saturdays and Sundays are classed as “overtime” and extra fees are charged ($EC 40).
